ENYO Metronome

A free metronome that runs in your browser, made to look and work like the ENYO Metronome app for Mac.

A free metronome in your browser

ENYO Metronome keeps exact time in any browser: the clicks are scheduled on the audio clock, not a timer, so the beat never drifts however long you play. It is free, with no ads and no account, and it works offline once it has opened.

What it does

Each tool also has its own page: the online tuner, tap tempo, the BPM finder, the polyrhythm metronome, the tempo trainer, the rhythm trainer and the practice timer.

Look up a song's tempo in the song tempo list, or open the metronome already set up with a link such as /app/?bpm=96&ts=7/8&sub=eighths. Every option is listed in llms.txt.

Questions

Is it free?
Yes. No ads, no subscription, no account.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the first visit it is kept in your browser and opens without a connection. Install it from your browser's menu to give it its own window.
Will the click keep going if I lock my phone?
Not in a browser: phones pause web pages when the screen locks or you switch apps. The ENYO Metronome app for iPhone and iPad keeps the click going with the screen locked.
Can I open it at a set tempo?
Yes. Put the tempo and time signature in the link, for example /app/?bpm=96&ts=7/8. A link sets everything up; press Start to hear it.
Where are my setlists kept?
In this browser. Your setlists and settings are never uploaded. To move a setlist to the app on iPhone, iPad or Mac, open it and use Share to save it as a file, then open the file in the app.
Is there an app?
Yes — ENYO Metronome for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro, free on the App Store. It adds the click with the screen locked, iCloud sync, widgets and more. View on the App Store
